Around the Farm 2017

We had a lot going on around the farm this summer! In addition to our usual spring grass and beautiful flowers, we had our first ever foal born at the farm! The gorgeous colt is my daughter Robyn's first foal by her Andalusian Stallion 'VA Jason' and out of 'Hollywood Chu', her Quarter Horse Mare. His current color is Dun. However, we are not sure if he is going to turn grey over time. We call him Sid, and he will be registered under the Azteca registry. Here is the handsome boy!

Also, Robyn got a new puppy! His name is Huckleberry and he can be found at the farm most days. He is 3/4 Boxer and 1/4 German Shepherd. He is growing so fast!

Our old fencing around the farm is around 40 years old! We have been maintaining it for the 27 years that we have been here. This year, we had a good portion of it replaced with beautiful new fencing by Dale's Valley Fencing. Yay! As well, we purchased a new shelter for the horses, built and installed by Rainforest Sheds.

I try never to take for granted the wonderful sights we see here on a daily basis. The horses bring so much joy to so many. They are real characters and sometimes we catch that on camera! As well, the grass fields and the trees are so beautiful in the summertime.

We hope you had a wonderful summer and are now enjoying the fresh cool air and making the most of the shorter days. Best Wishes to You All!
